Collections of eBooks have been purchased from Infobase and Gale on the topics of student wellness and careers. Instructional materials will continue to be purchased throughout the 2023-2024 school year with funding from Future Forward Ohio.

Recordings are now available for two 30-minute webinars on INFOhio's newest licensed resource, CultureGrams. 

CultureGrams is available to INFOhio users across the state through five-year funding provided in part by a federal IMLS Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant through the State Library of Ohio. Additional funding is provided by Libraries Connect Ohio partners: INFOhio, OhioLINK, and OPLIN.

The recording is now available for the first Learn With INFOhio webinar of the 2023-2024 school year: Expanding Student Learning Opportunities with GoLearn, Ohio's Collaborative Course Catalog. GoLearn enables schools and ESCs to offer open seats to students across the state through remote live instruction. GoLearn also supports educators with connecting learners to quality courses regardless of their zip code—expanding learning opportunities wherever a student lives—and enabling districts to continue to offer courses with low enrollment, keeping teachers engaged and fulfilled.

With funding from Future Forward Ohio, INFOhio has purchased two collections of professional learning eBooks from EBSCO and Gale. Some of the focused areas for this content include classroom management, computer technology, distance education, early childhood, mathematics, reading & phonics, and STEM.

Instructional Materials Reviewer Workshop: Collaboration and Curation on High-Needs Topics

This summer an in-person, multi-day event took place with a small cohort of Instructional Materials Reviewers. This 3-day workshop increased participants' skills and knowledge of evaluating and implementing open access content for teaching and learning. Each participant was responsible for curating a final product of instructional materials focused around one of the following high-needs topics: financial literacy, STEM, career exploration and development, and the Holocaust and genocide for grades 6-12.
