April is School Library Month, a time to celebrate librarians' vital role in fostering a love of reading and instilling digital, information, and media literacy skills in students to help them become literate and successful citizens. To celebrate, read about Ohio School Librarians participating in INFOhio user groups—ICoach and Users Council—doing amazing work with INFOhio resources.

How can INFOhio support preschool-aged students? Emily Rozmus, an educator and school librarian who used technology daily with all grade levels, and Jill Finnan, an early learning professional who has served in a variety of settings, share thoughts about the best uses of technology for students ages 3-5.

With funding from Future Forward Ohio, professional learning and student eBooks from EBSCO on the topics of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science have been added to INFOhio's collection. 
 

Instructional materials from Feed the World, an initiative of Ohio Corn & Wheat, have been added to Open Space.

Update: 500 additional titles have been purchased.

With funding from Future Forward Ohio, 1000 eBooks have been purchased from Capstone. These unlimited, simultaneous-use eBooks are intended for students in grades 3-6 on science and social studies topics.

Engaging lessons and professional development from Verizon Innovative Learning HQ have been added to Open Space. The STEM-focused instructional materials utilize augmented reality, virtual reality, design thinking, and 21st century skills.
