ISearch Mobile is the ISearch we all know and love, with a streamlined look and feel. ISearch Mobile does everything ISearch does and will provide high-quality digital content for research projects, background information on a topic, and supporting informational text. ISearch Mobile's simple interface allows students of any age to search for the content they need without distraction.
Before beginning a search on ISearch Mobile, make sure to login with your district's INFOhio username and password on the INFOhio homepage first. If you do not know your district's INFOhio username and password ask your school librarian and/or watch this video tutorial, Logging In to Access Digital Content from INFOhio to find out.
Start from www.infohio.org, log in to your district's INFOhio username and password, and scroll down to search ISearch from the homepage. To access the ISearch homepage, click on the hamburger main menu and select Home. Another way to access ISearch is from your school library's homepage, if your school district automates with INFOhio's integrated library system, SirsiDynix. Go here: https://infohio.org/opac/. Find your library and then click on the ISearch icon. Accessing from your library link will take you directly to your library's ISearch homepage.
There are two main ways to access ISearch Mobile:
On a mobile device, you can turn accessibility view on and off by going to the ISearch Mobile menu and selecting Enable (or Disable) Accessibility Mode.
On a desktop device, accessibility view is turned on automatically when you use ISearch Mobile.
Whether you reach ISearch Mobile from a mobile device or by clicking the Accessibility icon, you will land on the ISearch Mobile landing page or homepage.

The ISearch Mobile Results Screen
After initiating a search, you will land on the ISearch Mobile results screen. This initial search defaults to the My Library tab and provides content available from your school library. However by clicking on the drop-down menu (2 in picture below) you can choose from the other content categories available: Encyclopedias, Basic Sources, Advanced Sources, STEAM, and Open Access. In this example the Basic Sources tab was selected because I wanted my results to be magazine articles about the topic.
These are the main components of the ISearch Mobile results screen:
To exit Mobile mode on a desktop, click the hamburger menu, and click Disable Accessibility Mode. This will take you back to ISearch.
To go back to mobile mode in ISearch from a desktop, click on the accessibility icon. This will take you to ISearch Mobile's accessibility view. Also, please remember that if you are on a device or tablet, your default view of ISearch will be mobile mode.
