GoLearn, which launched in development and pilot phase in September 2023 as part of Future Forward Ohio, gives Ohio schools the ability to offer open seats in their courses to students from other schools and districts across the state via remote live instruction.

During the pilot, GoLearn enabled more than 50 students in 5 districts to be enrolled by their districts in courses that were not available to them in their home districts, expanding their learning opportunities.

The development and pilot phase for GoLearn will end on June 27, 2024 at noon or when 60 pilot seats have been claimed, whichever is first.

At that time, a few important changes will happen:

• Stipends will no longer be available. Districts registering students for courses will need to contact the agency or district offering the course seat to determine costs and payment procedures.
• Agencies and districts offering course seats will update their course descriptions with contact info for costs and payment procedures.
• Submission/acceptance of additional course seats will be suspended until the platform relaunches in September.
• New account creation and acceptance of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) will be suspended until the platform relaunches in September.
• The GoLearn platform will undergo necessary maintenance and security updates prior to platform relaunch in September, but will remain available to districts and agencies that participated in the pilot through August.
