Aimee Mendelsohn works for the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West as a School Improvement and Academic Specialist focused on professional development, curriculum and teaching strategies, assessment, and data-driven decision frameworks. Aimee has over 18 years of experience in both the K-12 area and also in higher education. Prior to joining the ESC, she worked as a classroom teacher, Math Title I teacher, Math Instructional Coach, and Building Administrator. Aimee spent 7 years in higher education as a Director of Student Services, Transitions Program Coordinator, and Implementation Coach. Aimee has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master’s Degree in Higher Education, an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision, and is currently working on her Doctorate of Education in Leadership Studies from Bowling Green State University. She holds a Teaching License in grades PreK-3 and a Dual-Principal License in grades PreK-6 and 4-9.
