Creating Lessons Using PebbleGo Next

Learning Objectives
  • Identify best practices for using PebbleGo Next in the classroom.
  • Create a lesson plan to integrate PebbleGo Next into instruction.

PebbleGo Next Lesson Plans

PebbleGo Next has many lesson plans ready for you to use or customize as needed to meet your instructional needs. In the lesson Using Instructional Supports, you learned how to find the lesson plans and activities to support the content in PebbleGo Next. Below are three of these lesson plans. Review each then consider the following questions.

Questions:

  1. Which of Ohio's Learning Standards for grades 3-5 can these lessons support?
  2. What elements of the lessons could you customize to fit the needs of learners in your classroom?
  3. How can you embed formative assessments to ensure students are mastering the content?
  4. What criteria will you use to evaluate the final project?
