Explora for Grades 6-8 and Explora for Grades 9-12 Lesson Plans
In the class titled Using the Instructional Supports, you learned where to find lesson plans using Explora. These are available on the EBSCO Connect homepage. Search Lesson Plans. Using the filters on the left, select Explora.
The multidisciplinary lesson Using Textual Evidence to Support Arguments helps middle school learners understand the importance of using valid evidence to support ideas and opinions.
Create a Lesson Plan
Based on the content and grade level you most often teach, develop a lesson plan using resources from Explora for Grades 6-8 or Explora for Grades 9-12. Consider the discussion and reflection questions you have completed and the materials you have learned about so far. Use the lesson plan template to create a standards-aligned lesson for your students using Explora Grades 6-8 or Explora Grades 9-12. Consider sharing the lesson plan you create in INFOhio's Open Space.
Reflecting on Your Learning
Once you've shared your lesson plan to the group resources, post about what you shared in the Explora Resources Open Space group discussions. Find the
Explora Lesson Plans and Educator Tools post and reply to the thread to share your lesson plan.
