The 6-8 Digital Content Learning Pathway has a new class, The World Almanac for Kids. Participants will learn how to support middle-grade students as they locate information in the digital resource. This class will help educators use the instructional resources offered by The World Almanac for Kids to develop inquiry-based classrooms. Additionally, after successfully completing the final quiz, earn a certificate for two contact hours.
The 6-8 Digital Content Learning Pathway is intended for adults working with Ohio learners in grades 6-8. The training includes instructional content from specific digital resources provided by INFOhio in the areas of inquiry-based learning and technology integration. Participants who complete the 6-8 Digital Content Learning Pathway can earn up to 20 contact hours and a digital badge. Currently, the 6-8 Digital Content Learning Pathway includes nine classes, the newly added The World Almanac for Kids class, and nine additional classes:

Sarah Mowery is a Professional Instructional Specialist with INFOhio. She has worked in education for 16 years as a school librarian and technology coach in elementary and middle school settings. While in these roles, she's been an integral part of the building leadership teams working as a curriculum connector and integrating web-based tools. She earned a BA in Sociology from Bowling Green State University and an MLS with a specialization in PK-12 schools from East Carolina University. Sarah was one of the original INFOhio ICoaches when the program first began in 2013 and has a passion for sharing how INFOhio resources can transform teaching and impact learning for students and educators across the state of Ohio.
