Currently the School Library Basics Learning Pathway includes five classes, the newly added Collection Development class, Information Literacy class, and three additional classes, Introduction to INFOhioAdvocacy: Sharing the Value of Your School Library, and Fetch. Participants in the Advocacy class will learn about the importance of promoting their school library and develop a plan to help them raise awareness of the services and support available. The Fetch class provides librarians who automate with INFOhio, lessons surrounding what it is and how to use Fetch, the K-2 library catalog, in your library.

One additional class for the School Library Basics Learning Pathway is currently in development:

  • Library Management - Learn the basics of managing a school library including developing library policies and guidelines, shelving books, creating a library schedule, running reports, and more.
