Recordings Now Available: INFOhio presents at the Ohio Department of Education Virtual Conference

On August 3-5, 2021 the Ohio Department of Education hosted a virtual conference, Building Bridges to the Future: Instruction Using High-Quality Materials

Keynote sessions were presented by Instruction Partners and The New Teacher Project (TNTP). This online event featured sessions across all content areas, with a focus on using high-quality instructional practices and materials, leading to more equitable learning outcomes for all students.   • Identify High-Quality Instructional Materials with EdReports and the RemotEDx Rubric - August 3, 2021 at 3:00pm
    Learn about the new EdReports class as well as the RemotEDx Rubric in helping define high-quality instructional materials. Districts looking for how to find and evaluate instructional materials will benefit from this session. 

  • Reimagine Your PreK–5 Classroom with Quality Materials from INFOhio - August 4, 2021 at 4:00pm
    Explore the quality PreK-5 instructional materials provided at no cost from INFOhio and how they align with high-quality standards defined in the RemotEDx Rubric. Quality instructional materials are flexible and adaptive, culturally responsive, research-based, standards-aligned, and user friendly.

Sarah Mowery is a Professional Instructional Specialist with INFOhio. She has worked in education for 16 years as a school librarian and technology coach in elementary and middle school settings. While in these roles, she's been an integral part of the building leadership teams working as a curriculum connector and integrating web-based tools. She earned a BA in Sociology from Bowling Green State University and an MLS with a specialization in PK-12 schools from East Carolina University. Sarah was one of the original INFOhio ICoaches when the program first began in 2013 and has a passion for sharing how INFOhio resources can transform teaching and impact learning for students and educators across the state of Ohio.
