INFOhio has created cataloging templates for the following types of materials. These templates can be downloaded into your system and edited according to the instructions linked below. Contact your ITC provider on how to locate templates.

Electronic Resource (includes Computer software, Numeric data files, Computer oriented multimedia, and Online systems or services. OTHER electronic resources -- such as e-books, Web sites, etc. -- are cataloged according to their most significant aspect, i.e., an e-book is a book, a Web site is an Integrating Resource under Serial, etc.) (January 2006) [MS Word OR PDF 17 pgs]

Equipment is not bibliographical material, and there are many ways to enter equipment for management purposes. INFOhio is not endorsing or prescribing any particular method. The Equipment template is one option that creates one MARC record for each type of equipment. Feel free to modify to fit local needs. These records will not be extracted and added to the INFOhio's K-12 Curriculum Resource Catalog.
