| What is the INFOhio Core Collection? Essential online reference and research tools such as encyclopedias,
dictionaries, magazine articles, biographies, and more.
INFOhio's Core Collection of Electronic Resources is available for
all Ohio K-12 teachers, students and their parents. This includes those that are taught at
private schools and at home.
How to access INFOhio databases?
Select one of the grade level buttons or the Core Collection button then click on the
resource button of your choice. At most schools access will be immediate.
From home you will need to enter a username and password. These are available from your
local school library media center, technology coordinator, or administrator. You may also
request a username/password by e-mailing central@infohio.org.
What does accessing the resources costs schools, students, teachers or parents?
Absolutely nothing. ALL public and non-public K-12 schools, educators, students and
their parents across Ohio have unlimited use of these resources free of charge. The State
of Ohio funds INFOhio to purchase these online resources for Ohio schools through June
2006. |
